Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry (Ar-Raniry State Islamic University) which is located in the province of Aceh, Indonesia was established in 1962.  Within its span of time of its development, UIN Ar-Raniry has played an important role not only in Islamic Studies but also in Science and Art. As a prominent University, UIN Ar-Raniry has given positive impacts towards the development of education in Indonesia in general and Aceh Province in special.

Today, UIN Ar-Raniry, with the contribution from lecturers graduated from prominent international universities around the world, has transformed itself as the biggest public Islamic University in Aceh focusing on many areas of study programs, both in  Islamic studies  and in Arts and Science. In addition, in supporting its teaching and learning programs, UIN Ar-Raniry has been equipped with modern and beautiful infrastructures and facilities to meet the demands in this modern era. Now, UIN Ar-Raniry has more than 27.000 students who study in undergraduate and graduate programs in various fields of study.

• Darussalam Inn, a-2 star accommodation that is located in campus;
• Auditorium that accommodates a large-scale event (up to 1000 people);
• Main library that offers hundred thousands of books and librarians who are ready to help;
• A health clinic that provides first aid and medication to all students, staff and lecturers;
• Sport facilities that are consisted of: a stadium with field facilities, a foot- ball field, badminton halls, volleyball court, a basketball court, and futsal field.

 LEARN BAHASA INDONESIA AND ACADEMIC ORIENTATION

We offer a short course of Bahasa Indonesia and design special academic and campus orientation for new international students.

LEARN A FOREIGN LANGUANGE

Foreign language has become more necessary than ever for linking with the rest of the world. Our Language Center offers training in English, Arabic, Turkish, and Japanese (International Office initiated programs). We also provide regular ITP-TOEFL test check it out at https://pusatbahasa.ar-raniry.ac.id/ and at our education USA center.
